1-on-1 Private Sewing Sessions – Choose Your Journey

Sessions are booked in one-hour increments and held at the Sarah Tremain Studio in West Philadelphia (or virtually, if arranged in advance). After you select your session type, you’ll receive a confirmation with details on what to bring and how to prepare. Materials for practice may be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own garments, fabric, or inspiration.

Mending Mentorship — Learn visible or invisible mending while repairing your own garments.

Sewing Therapy — Use sewing as self-care in a calm, creative space.

Design Your Own Piece — Sketch, source, and start planning a custom garment or accessory.

Alteration Skills 101 — Learn practical tailoring skills like hemming or taking in garments.

Upcycling Lab — Reimagine worn or forgotten pieces into bold new designs.

Closet Rescue — Work through unworn pieces and discover ways to repair, restyle, or upcycle.

Heirloom Preservation — Restore or reinvent meaningful garments while honoring their stories.

Each session is flexible — you’re welcome to combine elements or request a custom focus.

Sessions are priced at $60 per hour. This reflects fair compensation for Sarah’s expertise, preparation time, and the intentional studio environment created for each client. Unlike group workshops, private sessions allow for focused one-on-one guidance tailored to your specific needs and goals.
